Moving through a period of change of your own choosing, or in response to a change out of your control, requires a few things to do it well: planning, encouragement, accountability and recognition of milestones. These components help us think and feel through a change in advance; reflect, release and make progress in the middle; and memorialize and recognize what we have come through. My work in partnering with people through change creates this framework for organizations or individuals. Below are some options for how we might work together. If you are interested in learning more or discussing another option, please reach out!
Change can be a challenge for us when we are losing something or someone in the process. Loss brings grief and grief must be tended to so we can allow its alchemy to have its way with us. Grief circles can provide a dedicated, routine space for you to check in with your feelings and where you are in your grief. Being witnessed by others who are in their own grief can help you feel more connected and less alone in your process.
I partner with people who are grieving through one-on-one virtual sessions on a schedule that works for you (weekly, twice-monthly, monthly, etc.). Sessions often include an opportunity to talk through where you are in your grief, guided visualization or meditation to help you connect with your grief and your body, small rituals you can do to honor your grief and who or what was lost, and skills to help you navigate your grief in ways that help you feel connected and supported. Grief can often feel unmooring and unpredictable. Sign up for a grief partner session or a six-session package to support yourself through this time.
Intuition, inner knowledge, answered prayers, or listening to your guardians, ancestors or guides--we have different words, beliefs, or theories for that sensation of "yes" that helps guide us on our soul's path. Take a moment with me to help you open up to this guidance through guided visualization, journeying or tarot readings. I have read tarot for 25 years, apprenticed for five years to a spiritual teacher on connecting through journeying, and received training in guided visualization practices. I have explored connecting with guidance for many years and can help you connect with yours. Sign up for a one-hour session to work with me.
Do you feel more comfortable with a traditional coaching partnership? We can do that, too! Coaching can help you move more thoughtfully and gracefully through a period of change such as a career change, family change, or other important transition. Coaching begins with setting goals for our work and self-reflection, committing to eight sessions over four months, and participating fully in the work of reflecting, releasing, planning and taking next steps. Are you ready to face your mortality and plan for your own end-of-life? You can do this at any point and, in fact, it's better to do it when you are not near the end when so much energy is focused on treatment, care, anticipatory grief and saying goodbyes.
Planning for your end-of-life and estate options now can not only help you prepare for a better death in the future, but to live more fully aligned with your values, goals and dreams now. A clear, heart-centered, end-of-life plan can be a beautiful gift to yourself and your loved ones.
We begin with a starter package which includes an initial 1.5 hour conversation, a followup summary of our discussion and a next-steps plan and checklist based on your own priorities.
Then you can design your next steps with or without my guidance or involvement, whatever works for you. Some of us are great at implementing a plan right away. Others of us need a little boost now and then or an external accountability partner. We can make a plan that works for you. Schedule your initial planning package session now or contact me with any questions.
A living funeral or death meditation is a guided visualization through a dying process and beyond to help you connect with your own mortality, reflect on the gift of life and bring into focus your values and goals. Living funerals can also help you face your own death phobias or fear of dying. I am a certified Living Funeral facilitator through Steady Waves and can provide one virtually (one-on-one or in a small group online) or in-person (in central North Carolina and pandemic limitations permitting).
